It's My Party, I'll Donate If I Want To

So I have about 24 hours until My Birthday and it's a BIG One!

I'm not a huge "Let's-All-Celebrate-My-Birthday" person. Truth be told, I don't even really like Birthday cake all that much, unless my sister, Jackie, whips up some delicacy. (Did you SEE those yummy looking cupcakes?)

This year I decided that if anyone asked what I wanted, I would ask them to donate to Austin's CCA Fundraiser. So there, that's what I want. (Not that you asked.)

Yeah, I know. Boring.

That's just where I am this year. I am pretty sure I ruffled more than a few feathers when I declined a party, or a celebratory lunch, or gifts, in general. Sorry Peeps.

But really, is that so bad? I just feel like giving something back to a community of people who help kids, some very, very sick kids. I have one of those kids.

So Please...No Flowers, No Sky-Writing, No Dancing Clowns this year.

If you feel so inclined to celebrate little ole me, make a donation to a worthy cause and help me celebrate another day with my crazy, little recycling savvy-book reading-sword fighting-Nemo watching-tube fed critter!
