Today's quote comes from Andrea Clegg, as she waits for the perfect donor match. Andrea has been diagnosed with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and is awaiting a heart transplant. She has an absolutely amazing story, with more twists and turns than a soap opera plot, which includes collapsing in her husband's arms on her wedding day.
She just celebrated her first year of marriage and has been waiting for a donor nearly as long. But she's not just sitting back. She's fighting for her life, getting fit and she's raising awareness for organ donation.
Andrea has started to blog and designs t-shirts to raise awareness. She writes, "the biggest goal with my shop is to get the word out about organ donation. I'm trying to make t-shirts that people will actually wear and inspire conversations,...I'm trying to make a difference."

And yes I'm an organ donor. And if I happen to live long enough for my organs to be too old to be used as replacement parts, my dead ass is gonna be a cadaver for medical students.
