Places to Peek This Week

It never fails by the end of the week I have lots of little things I want to tell you. So here goes.

First things first, I want to make sure y'all go vote for me in the Bunchland BlogHer contest. If for no other reason, than because my entry rocks!

I had to answer the question: " What is the awesomest thing your family has ever done?"

Luckily I had an awesome answer, because I have an...wait for it...awesome family.

So anyhoo, as I understand it you can vote for me once every hour, or something like that...so I say voting once a day should be fine, because frankly who has the time to do that every hour? You know, besides me.

I would very much love to win this trip to attend BlogHer in New York so please toss in a vote. Voting ends July 16th at 11:59PM EDT.

Coming up on July 24th is a Bloggers Unite event to promote "PeopleFirst: Empowering People with Disabilities".

We need more bloggers and writers to sign up and participate in this cause to reach our goal of 300. You do not need BE a blogger or writer in the Special Needs community. You just need to be dedicated to raising awareness and promoting acceptance for all.

Hope you'll join us and participate on Saturday July 24th.

If you are a Latina Blogger, you need to take this survey created by LATISM (Latinos in Social Media.) The results will be presented at the BlogHer conference (and for those not attending will be available after the conference.)

It's sort of like a Latina Bloggy Census (only less confusing.)

And this one is for just fun. Fast Company has released something called The Influence Project. I'm pretty sure I am way off the chart, but if you click this it will increase my online influence...or something like that. They plan to name the most influential person in November. Like I said that is just for fun.
